Docking Solo or Short-Handed - tip 1
When single or short-handling your motor or sailing yacht, early preparation is key to smooth success. Use this tip for preparing a bowline and smoothly retrieve it after securing your mid ship, stern and/or spring line. On larger motor and sailing yachts, be certain to keep the middle of the line on deck and draped inside the rail to prevent accidental line-overboard and possible prop entangling. Stress-free docking begins with early preparations before entering close quarters.
